Thanks a lot for the replies guys.


I lightly pressed on the throttle plate until the voltage hovered around 6.5 volts. It sounded like the engine ran smoother for that period. I left the plate alone and the voltage dropped down to about 1 volt again.

I disconnected the O2 sensor and the voltage on pin 3 on diagnostic port went up to 6.4 volts. I measured the voltage at O2 sensor wire, it was about 488 mV which I think it's within the range. Is it still possible that the O2 sensor is bad?

I also disconnected the plugs of the coolant sensor just for the fun of it, the reading was going to normal but when I connected them back, the voltage went to 1 again slowly. I am not sure what the significance of this is though.
