Generally the later 129, 201, 124, and 140 era and newer cars have too high of offset to work with the older chassis. However I do know that the late 107 had a suspension redesign that allowed it to run wheels with a higher offset. You should research what the offset of both cars is.

Another thing to keep in mind is the 140 used 14mm lug bolts rather than 12. The hub bore is the same but technically you need different lug bolts with the 14mm ball dimensions on the 12mm lug bolt.
