I was pre-pruchase inspecting a 2012 GL350 with about 90,000 turns and RAN away from it because of the timing chain. I could hear it slap like crazy on startup, and I stethoscoped it while it was running and it sounded like it was about to come apart. GRRRR.

My 07 is at 140K and tight as a dumb.
