How likely is it that the small amount of oil(one ounce perhaps) pooling under my car everywhere I go is coming from a blown rear crank seal? I've crawled underneath to inspect the leak, and I can't seem to trace it to the oil down tube, though that assessment is by no means definitive. I'm happy to report that with close to 200K miles on "Frau Blucher," she burns very little oil. But the leak still bothers me. If the down tube seals are trashed, can I order them from the parts shop here? Is it common for crank seals to leak? Please advise.
