Just make sure that you wire #86 on the relay to a constant power source whether or not the key is in the ignition. This will ensure that the water pump will circulate the coolant after you shut the engine down. Once you get everything wired in, Take it out to get the temps up and then park it and shut the engine off. You should still here the water pump running. Go and put the key back in and with key on/engine off look at the temp gauge and you will be able to see the temps drop.
