Depends on what refrigerant is used, condenser type, ambient temp, and the condition/cleanliness of the evaporator. Other than the Sanden being more efficient than an R4, vent temps would be similar with everything else being equal. The system in my TD has the 7 cyl Sanden, Parallel Flow condenser, big fan, and R12. There is no comparison between this and a stock system running 134a, regardless what compressor is used. Changing out the R4 to a Sanden, and leaving everything stock will only provide more compressor longevity, and maybe less HP draw on the engine.
