I'm not aware of any "recall." They extended the warranty on the SBC pump to ten years. And, on later models, they bumped up the actuation threshold to about 600k. FWIW on mine I have roughly three actuations per mile on average.

There's nothing really problematic about it. You just need to be aware of the fact that, if the SBC pump has not already been replaced, it's probably close to needing to be replaced. Not horrendously expensive. And you can use this as a bargaining chip with the seller.

It's a fabulous braking system....just need to be aware of its unique maintenance needs.
