I Think I am on right track

It is hard to get proper parts for this car when you say 350sl everyone looks at you like your nuts. I set the idle to correct rpm and now the car runs alot better after cleaning up the contact points inside cap the car no longer smells like unburnt fuel. My efforts to replace all the vacuum hose is nearly complete with the exception of the one finger size hose that runs from the map sensor to the back of the motor (by the firewall) is is a big deal to get the hose back on after you pull the old one off? is there a trick? It looks like it might be really hard to get the hose back on (limited fat finger acces) Can anyone help out a DIYer
Thank you, Ernie
I love low mileage cars!
