Easier for a DIY to roll and tip if you don't have a spray booth facility.
No over spray, less taping, costs less, easy to touch up.
A professionally sprayed car will look a little better if done right.
If you want a low maintenance tuff paint job on your daily driver its beyond very good. You will see slight lines if you look for them, but will also see orange peel in a spray job.
If you want a Show Car then pay more and have it professionally sprayed.
Not too many W123 s are show cars. I wouldn't Roll and Tip a W113.
I am happy with 2 cars I painted, the car I am painting now (no fault of Awlgrip) has problems with a previous paint job, so I am removing several layers of low quality paint then will have to repaint again.
Good luck with what ever you end up doing.
