Just wanted to add my own offerings of hope for a speedy recovery, and that both you and the jerk that hit you see a fair and just outcome arise out of all of this. And don't hesitate to ensure that everything is checked out from a health standpoint - chronic back pain goes from annoyance to limiting disability in no time flat.

As a side note (and this goes to EVERYONE that has ever offered advice or help on this site as well), I also want to express my thanks for helping put together what is truly a public service. Every technical newbie that has passed any amount of time on this site has learned something that will help them take better care of their car, gain more confidence in dealing with their mechanic, save money, and make their everyday lives safer and more enjoyable.
