Question Engine Stalling Still A Mystery

My '88 300 TE (wagon) (125,000 mis.) has had a new fuel pump relay, crank sensor relays, and ignition control module replaced in the last few months, and a new fuel pump put in in '99, but the engine still dies while driving, from 30 mph to 50 mph and also at a complete stop. When it dies, the dash lights all come on, and it can be restarted approx. 5-10 seconds later (if you try and turn it over immediately after stalling, it won't--it sounds like it's flooded). My mechanic is completely stymied. Anyone out there know something that hasn't been covered yet in this discussion?
I'd really appreciate it. Thanks.
