My mechanic told me that there is no benefit in disabling the EGR on the CA version car.

The CA version has a different tranny than the earlier models, including a different torque converter for better off the line performance.

I've owned two 1985 300CD's and always thought the CA version was the best.

Gotta love that neck snapping off the line burnout................LOL.
