The Aux fan is not essential to maintaining the correct engine temperature. Mine doesn't work. I've been thru four Phoenix summers without it and while the temp does rise slightly in midsummer sitting at a light the needle never leaves the 80 in the temperature gauge. So if you are worried about overheating because of the aux fan I'd say forget it. The main fan on the car though if I understand you correctly is missing a blade? That I would definitely replace, after sorting the vacuum issues and the fuel return lines. Engine mounts too probably.
