This job is an absolute piece of cake.

Drop the kick panel. Reach underneath and push the cluster toward the steering wheel. Loosen the thumbnut for the speedo cable and pull out. Loosen the 10MM nut for the oil pressure gauge while backing up with a 12MM on the gauge itself.

Put the instrument cluster upside down on a rag that is layed out on the bench. Then just remove the speedo or instruments by removing the screws.

You will NEVER find a simpler instrument panel to work on except in an old Ford pickup where four screws allow you to fold it over.

Piece of cake job. Go for it.
