I am looking at a 1987 300 turbodiesel (w124) and it has a blown head gasket. Would the head be warped? Beyond repair? How much might it cost to have just the head machined. It is aluminum. The man said he can see the coolant "coming out". It runs but will overheat if on for ver long, so he doesn't let it say on long at all. I gathered all this from talking on the phone with him last night.
