My plan was to get the transmission now and do everything over the summer. Ammount of work is not a issuie, i really want to do this, the only constraint would be how much it would cost, and if i can get the transmission for $200 and find a donor car around here, i should be ok. I'm going to take a look at the local junk yards to see if i can find a donor car. I would just use the transmission from it, but if i can get a 5spd, why not? oh and thanks for that link, i'm in the process of reading it now.
