Yup, all is well. The infection started out as athletes foot. This particular time however, the fungal infection refused to heal, and a bacterial infection set up along side the fungus.

They used some strong meds in the hospital and I was out in 6 days. The only thing that bothers me is that the regular OTC anti fungal medications seem to no longer be working very well. I've had another case of athletes foot since and even this one has been very slow to respond to medication. It took three different OTC meds to get it to heal this time.

I'm to the point now where I wear shoes only long enough to get to work, and kick 'em off as soon as I sit down. I haven't figured out what I'm going to do for outdoor activities.
