If you get good quality tinting with professional installation, you won't have the problems you listed. I've had mine on for about 5 years and my car sits in 90+ degree heat all summer. No bubbling, fading, etc. Also no scratches from rolling windows up and down. Only thing to be careful with is to use all-cotton rags to clean the tinted glass surfaces as paper towels may scratch.

I have a LIGHTLY tinted metalized coating. In my opinion, MBs do NOT look right with a very dark tint (and some purists would say they don't look right with ANY amount of tint).
