Projections have always indicated there is a strong possibility that life exists somewhere out there. The distances are so great though it may not matter much.

The same applies to the chances of man ever even finding a place out there he can survive on. It would take generations of people in travel to even reach it if exists.

As time relates to the universe mans existence on earth is probably of little consequence. We are a very fragile specis.

Since for all practical purposes there is no where to really go. We probably should be making it job number one to at least attempt to keep the earth as it is as much as we can. There will always be a strong risk of a natural disaster or uncontrolled epidemic. No matter what we do.

The large reptiles from the past where far tougher than us probably. Nature had little trouble making them extinct.
