Hello Again,

I am puzzled by the quality questions regarding the Passat.
Consumer Reports ( the most conservative magazine ever ) loves this car from a pricing/quality/reliability standpoint. They are quick to condemn cars with poor repair records. Also, isn't the engine in the Passat an Audi mill? If it works in an A 6, why not in the VW?
