If I find the answers I will be sure and forward them off to you. The tach & outside temp both quit at the same time. I was accelerating to merge on to a highway and the tach just fell to 0. Makes me curious.
I realize in reflection that the almost comical "pulling" of the dash and heater/AC unit was very much easier because so much of the original car was dismantled. There wasn't a steering wheel, no ignition switch or steering column etc. Really, the ideal way to get to those parts ..... well except being inside a dumpster!
