I found a local builder for the transmission and am keeping the car. Thanks for the interest.


The good:
Good engine with good compression and fresh valve adjustment
New Weber carbs and original Zenith's included as well
New plugs and wires
New intake/exhaust manifold gasket
New electronic fuel pump (bypassing mechanical)
Pretty good paint and overall body condition. Some spots in the wheel wells but doors, sills are all nice.

The bad:
Trans seems to be worn, I lost reverse and could not adjust without forward gears feeling like they are binding. I have just one more bolt and the trans is coming out.
Was shinier but sat outside for 2 months and needs some wax.
Tires are dry and cracked.

For sale trade or taking parts requests. I will make someone a great offer on taking the whole car as I would love for it to go to an enthusiast. I am also open for trades + cash for a driver. With my new job, I can barely find a few hours a week to wrench and it's crushing my spirit.
