I think the problem is that these are 2 different, very different, chassis.

BMWtech:
If the blower motor is inop, it could also be the blower motor itself, or the controller. Try jumping B+ to the 2 terminals on the blower and see if you get high speed. Disconnect the regulator first. I had one inop 140 blower motor being caused by the ignition switch. Need to get out a diagram and study it when you have a stumper like this.
