Well many will argue that the driver of the M3 wasn't fully pushing his car but I know he was doing everything he could to try and take me, it just didnt help him.

Randall..

As far as I know it is always harder to keep up with another vehicle when on his tail rather then being side to side. I remember a few years back when I had my 93 Porsche C-2 Coupe (modified) and my buddy in his Testarossa was having a hard time keeping up with me while behind me, but if riding next to me he would take me by more then a car's length. The car/driver in front will always have the advantage of hitting the pedal while the fallowing car/driver doesnt know when to hit his pedal therefor losing anywhere from a 1/2 sec to a sec and a half which results in a unfair race. The only way to race is side by side. And thats how I beat this guy. I believe my car was faster then his although I strongly believe that a 6 speed M3 should have no problem beating an 11 year old 500E.
