Remember that original Mercedes wires are made of solid copper, and rarely, if ever, go bad. There is no replacement interval for wires.

Aftermarket wires are not recommended because they are not solid copper. They are a silicone / copper blend and don't have the same service life. The only good thing about aftermarket wires is that they are cheap.

If you have a miss problem, it is almost always a bad plug, a plug or plugs that have too wide of a gap, or a bad plug wire boot or resistor end.
