Let's be realistic. You already know you have a leak! You have three choices:
1 Don't do anything and live with it (hot).
2. Recharge it and don't fix. It should last another summer (hopefully).
3. Fix it right. $$$
If you decide to go with #3, don't go to Pep Boys. Go to a real MB mechanic.
