Today I got out the multimeter and measured the voltage to the battery it was 20.56volts, and the battery was boiling, I
blew both high beams switching them on a off, ouch!! I am glad
I wasn't driving somewhere,
I went down the street to the local alt, starer rebuilder
and he gave me a new v. regulator (20.00$$) I installed
it and I am getting a nice 14.5v now, I also checked the overvoltage relay it was fine? no blown fuse? I figured for sure that would have fried, while i was down there i replaced the
A/c clucth too , that was all to easy after having the new one on the shelf for awhile
thanks
Dave
