Can't answer that question for you - dealer can, but wanted to pipe up here as I've just had this replaced. This sensor corrodes over time (this is apparently normal) and what you're seeing in the light is the fluid working as a bridge. That's why it starts dim, works without regularity, etc. Replacement of this at my tech was $24 all-told (p&l). FYI
