This is the all aluminum V6 Ford DuraTec 2.5L.. It was designed by Porsche and then Cosworth designed the casting molds, finally Ford placed their badge on it. It is a very strong engine. Of course all this was done for Ford in Europe..They build cars for a totaly different market that do the Motor City Ford folks..

Thanks for the input on the oil, but I still don't know the spec for the SLK engine.. I'll brake down and call the dealer..
