What I really miss on 85 and older benzes is that they don't have low oil or low coolant sensors (lowers the chance of your motor blowing up) and no light control module light (keeps you from being pulled over for having a light out)

Interesting idea. I was wondering where the collant level sensor was on this one. My 300SDL was saved by the coolant light last fall. I saw that light blink on - miraculously - and glanced up at the temp gauge which was headng in the wrong direction. I pulled over immediately - the engine bay was full of steam. Way better than full of stinky smoke.
