Try removing the Fuel Fill cap and see if that makes it easier to get fuel up front.

My older car has a tank vent system that can get plugged. Removing the Fuel Fill Cap would act as a tank vent; at least for testing.

When I have had to bring fuel up to the front after my Volvo Diesel sat a year I used one of the Electric Fuel Pumps that I already had.
