Need help to fix my power steering. It is Vickers power steering unit, part number 126 460 22 80. It was leaking around the shaft and I bought a kit to replace the shaft seal plus a few o-rings. It seems to be a simple job and I don't think I messed anything up. I buttoned everything up. I lifted the car and turned the steering a number of times full lock on both sides. Lower the car and it does not work. Is there any special procedure to bleed the pump and the steering rack? I am stumped.
