First thing first.
Turn the key on (do not start), go around the car and listen carefully for the fuel pump (it should be humming), in my car you can hear it by the rear passenger wheel.
If not humming, you know the pump is not working, hence the good possibility of the fuel pump relay gone bad. Now you can jump the pins and check for the humming (turn the key off).
Do not leave the pins jumped after you get home, because it will drain your battery. Get a new relay as soon as you can.
