I drive one every day as my daily driver. I just went through cooling issues.
If everything is working, the car should run between 85 - 95 deg C on the guage. The fan clutch should engage at 100 deg C and disengage at 98-ish deg C.
It runs through a fuse in position 1 or 10 depending on year, etc. The fuse amperage also depends on the year. My car is burning these up, so I suspect a bad clutch.
I'm also going to look for a temp sensor that switches at a lower temp. I sure wished I could find one that comes on at 95 and goes off at 90 deg C.
