So far so good

So far I am pretty happy with it.

I have noticed that the car may be a bit slower (If that is possible) but I may be over sensitive to that. I did have it up to 80 mph with no problem.

The car runs a good 5 degrees colder C. Hold right at 85 to 92. It would go up to 100 before or even a little higher. The best thing is that my AC blows nice and cold now. It was about 85 outside and she was blowing at 40 degrees F. That is a substantial improvement. I used to blow around 50 degrees may be a little under.

I may even hot wire the AC fan to go on whenever the AC is on to get it as cold as possible.

I must say that this may be a real easy and reasonable solution to avoiding overheating and maximizing our weak AC system conversions. IF I loose 5 horse power in the process a cold cabin and cool motor are worth it.

Be careful Dont break the metal strip. You want to be able to use it again in the fall.

When I reinstall mine I will heat it so that it bends and then insert it into its holder.

Thanks again for the info
