Hey guys, me again! I have an 2005 E320 cdi that recently started making a grinding noise on the driver side front when the brakes are applied. I removed the wheel and to my surprise I found that the upper bolt that mounts the caliper is missing. To my credit, I have never done the brakes on this car so I suspect that the previous owner may be responsible for this. I di not know if the bolt is stripped or if it was installed loosely but it needs replacing. I have searched the internet but couldn't come up with a spec on the bolt! Does anyone know what the diameter and length the replacement bolt may be?
