The battery is old and will have to be replaced sooner or later. However, at present it is not acting up at all. The engine is good with new starter and car starts immediately I turn the key.

I did go out and do a load test and it 'just' stayed in the green 'good' zone for the rated CCA despite it being not much above freezing out there. I put the battery on the smart charger after two load tests and it is charging at only 0.5A indicating almost fully charged.

Your post did alert me to keep an eye on it and to drive it a bit more. Being retired, it's not a regular daily driver We are kind of used to having weak batteries up here and I have my phone and a CAA card Always have jumper cables in trunk as back up!
