Did you run the engine after the refill with the radiator cap off for about five to ten minutes to rid of air in the system, then add coolant to the between markings on the overflow tank.
Radiator cap is high enough to act as air release to bleed system.
Make sure rubber gasket is on radiator cap.

also make sure you didn't knock off any of the clasps on the air fliter when working on car.

Also a five minute drive when car is up to normal operating temperature with the air directed to bottom of cabin and heater set on the hottest temp, watch for temp needle to drop.
