Well, I just got a donor car for super cheap with half the miles. 202k on the clock and runs perfect. I am going to keep this thread alive with pictures and updates as a little progress thread to bringing this e300 back to life. I love saving these w210 diesels. They’re just such an incredible car to drive with some serious power.
I decided to not rebuild it because in all honesty, the parts to rebuild the head, and the labor were the price of this car. I will keep the motor for further analysis and exam on a stand at a later date. But for now, I’m looking to just do a swap.
