Very acute thinking there .

I like dogs, am cautions when meeting a new one, owners often yell at their dogs to stop baring at me, I always tell them 'they're doing their job protecting the pack ~ let the DOG decide if I am friend or foe .

I think table scraps had to do with the wealth of each family, certainly my parents never had any scraps, we didn't often have any left overs either .

6 children will do that I guess .

Certainly the canned / wet dog food is bad for them, I only feed my pups kibble, if they don't eat it they're obviously not hungry .

My shortest lived dog was 17 years .
