Oops, I'm not sure how this system works! However, I've been adding Z-Max to a 1998 C230 for 9 months and I use Red Line Synthetic oil (10-40). I get mileage of 27mpg in town and 32 (at75mph) and 34+ (at 65mph. You can find Z-Max web site at www.gozmax.com It has links to AVblend the Aircraft additive site. I don't think I've got enough experience to recommend it, but I'll know the answer in a few years. Roger
