Thank you all very much for posting, for all the information, and for the warm welcome. I appreciate it. I am sorry for the delay in posting this – summer jobs, you know how it goes!!
To get a little more in depth with the car, it’s dark blue, unnamed at this point, has 155,000+ miles on it, and had two previous owners, one long-term, one short term. The last owner was a single, 25 year-old, elementary schoolteacher from Cambridge, Massachusetts. Yes, the car has an automatic transmission, and having learned to drive standards early, I can appreciate what this car might be like driven manually. Service records show a stuck pin in a valve body repair so if a transplant ever becomes needed, I’d happily consider a workable standard transmission conversion.
