My car would wander a fair amount and compared to other cars I drive, it made me tense. To solve the problem I changed the Centra 16" wheels that had 225 - 50 tires. I went to factory 14" alloys with 185 - 70's. That helped a great deal, but the gearbox was still acting up and so I changed that with one from a junk yard. I was able to "approve of" my gearbox, by first checking for current slop and then checked how much adjustment was used.
