a friend of mine just bought a very nice "82' stick shift 240d and when shifting you dont have to pull up to hit reverse. he said its easy to do when going into 1st (ya,I would think so ) . I could find no mention in the archives of any such behavior in shifting 4 spd manuals. Has anyone ever heard of this?
