I got the cable drive tailshaft housing installed Monday. It was pretty straightforward. Today was the big day, I sat the engine in the coupe. The first issue was that the engine sat too tall in the engine bay. Apparently C36 arms and mounts stand a couple inches taller than the E class. Out to crawl under my donor and pull its mounts and arms. With the correct arms bolted on, it sits properly. That one task was the goal for the day. Now the tedious task of piecing it all back together begins.
