My climate control blower has been making intermittent noises for quite some time. It's getting worse. I have searched this forum and concluded that I should replace it and not try to lubricate the bearings despite the success of some folks with some models. What I was not able to conclude is whether this is a DIY job. Some posts indicate 'Yes' and others say to have the job done by a dealer or reputable shop. I don't want to beat a dead horse but I would like to save the 4 hours labor if this is reasonable. Can I have some feesback on the DIY question. Car is a 1989 with 105K miles. Also, should I replace the blower controller at same time or is it part of the blower assembly??
Thanks...
