Just a note of caution after removing the large diameter air distribution duct that distributes tempered air to the passenger side and door. The aspirator motor for the in-cabin temperature sensor lurks to the right side in that same area, encased in a sponge rubber case. When you reassemble after completing your repair of the blower motor, satisfy yourself that the tube connecting the aspirator motor to the in-cabin temperature sensor remains firmly attached.
