Gear shift from the tranny is the easy part. Once you climb underneath and look around the tranny you can see the connections. There is a "linkage" attached that you have to remove the clamp fastener and then pry the linkage off. There is a wiring connection that you have to turn the "outer" ring about 1/4 turn and then unplug the connector. Remove the rear most tranny crossmember support from the frame and tranny and then the rear flex disc. I always remove the radiator and the oil cooler just to keep them from being damaged. You will need an angle adjustment adapter between the lift and the engine because it will be tilted at around 45 degrees with the tranny down to clear when it comes out. Take your time.
