Thanks guys.. I blocked off the heater hose, using a pair of vise grips, and two flat pieces of aluminum.. Vent temps are much cooler now..

Still nothing to brag about, but that did make a difference.. I have been using the recirculate function, but according to my service manual, the Rec. function is engaged anytime you choose the minimum setting on the wheel.. The recirculate function draws 80 percent inside/ 20 percent outside air..

Now, I'm off to the search function to troubleshoot the Mono-Valve. I put a repair kit in last fall, because I was getting NO heat..

Anyone want to give me an overview of how to troubleshoot this???

I'll also welcome simple ideas to block the heater hose off more permanently.. I just want to buy some time..
