I submitted a recent inquiry about the heat staying on in my 1989 190E 2.6. The opinion was that perhaps the vacum operated heater control valve part was the culprit.
I acquired the $20.00 part, but can't seem to locate where it is to be installed. I suspect it might be under the dash somewhere.
Has anyone replaced this part, and is it's installation that difficult? Please respond. Marty.
